Yes, Sangfor NGAF (Next-Generation Application Firewall) does support automatic and scheduled backups. Here’s how you can configure it:

### Configuring Automatic or Scheduled Backups on Sangfor NGAF

1. **Access the Management Console**:
   - Log in to the Sangfor NGAF management console.

2. **Navigate to Backup Settings**:
   - Go to **System** > **Maintenance** > **Backup & Restore**.

3. **Set Up Backup Schedule**:
   - In the Backup & Restore section, you can configure the backup schedule.
   - Choose the frequency of the backups (daily, weekly, monthly) and the specific time you want the backups to occur.

4. **Select Backup Type**:
   - You can choose to back up the entire configuration or specific parts of it.
   - Ensure you select the appropriate options based on your requirements.

5. **Specify Backup Location**:
   - Define where the backups will be stored. This could be a local storage, an external server, or a cloud storage service.
   - Make sure the backup location is accessible and has enough space to store the backups.

6. **Enable Notifications**:
   - Configure email notifications to alert you if a backup fails or completes successfully.
   - This helps in monitoring the backup process and ensuring that backups are being created as scheduled.

7. **Save and Apply Settings**:
   - After configuring all the settings, save and apply them to activate the scheduled backup.

### Additional Tips
- **Regularly Test Backups**: Periodically test your backups to ensure they can be restored successfully.
- **Monitor Storage Space**: Keep an eye on the storage space where backups are saved to avoid running out of space.
- **Update Backup Settings**: Review and update your backup settings regularly to accommodate any changes in your network configuration or backup requirements.

Hi,

Login to NGAF Management Console: Navigate to https://<NGAF_IP_Address> and log in with administrative credentials.
Navigate to Backup Settings: Go to System Settings > Backup and Restore.
Configure Backup Schedule: Select Automatic Backup, choose Daily, and specify the time (e.g., 02:00 AM).
Set Backup Location: Enter the backup destination, such as Local Disk or a Network Share.
Save and Apply: Click Save or Apply to confirm the backup schedule.
