Configuring LDAP on Endpoint Secure

Description

The LDAP synchronization function can automatically synchronize the organizational structure of the specified range of the AD domain server to the group list of the Endpoint Secure. There is no need to repeatedly create groups on the Endpoint Secure Manger since the AD OU can be synchronized with the groups on Endpoint Secure Manager.

Configurations
1. Go to System > LDAP Sync and Enable LDAP Sync.

2. Under the Organizational Sync, fill the appropriate OU Path.
Example:

3. Enable User Sync to map the LDAP user property into Endpoint Asset property. (Optional)

4. Enable Group Sync to automatically group the Endpoints according to the AD Domain structure.

5. Enable Auto Sync Setting to schedule automatic syncing.



Others:
You may also configure a LDAP Administrator account to login into the Endpoint Secure Manager.

Configurations:
1. Go to System > Administrators to create a new LDAP Account.

2. Fill in the OU Path and Username information accordingly.
Example:

Important:
a) The username must matches with the username on Active Directory.
b) TOTP is not supported for LDAP Account.

How frequently does the LDAP synchronization occur, and can the synchronization schedule be customized?
