Client computer that not on DHCP scope

Just a newbie for setup NGAF but facing some issue.

For example I created the DHCP scope is 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.100
If I reserve the IP address, such as 192.168.0.101, it will alert me "The IP address is not in the IP pool."

Because I am using Sonicwall that I can assign the IP range, and also can reserve the IP address for computer that out of the range, no need must in the IP address range.

You need to extend the scope of the DHCP Pool.

Reserving an IP address outside the DHCP scope, like 192.168.0.101, triggers an alert saying "The IP address is not within the IP pool."

You create a pool of IPs from 1 to 100 and now you want to reserve an IP 101 which doesn't exist in this pool so its obvious that it will prompt you this notification. There is nothing wrong in it. You can reserve only within this pool.

you need to adjust the DHCP scope, configure a separate IP range,

The 192.168.0.101 must included in the DHCP pool

Why do you not extend you  pool?

I you want to exclude .101, you should add it to the pool of your DHCP.
