The data are transported wirelessly to what we call signals or electromagnetic waves.

First, it all starts at the transmitter where it would generate the periodic waves.

This signal propagates through internal wires of the device up to the antenna.

Electric current goes further towards the tip of the antenna.

The antenna will then radiate the alternating current as an electromagnetic waves.

So this is how wireless transmission starts when antenna converts the electric current into waves.

It will then transmit and carry the data via air then towards its destination or what we call the receiving endpoint.

Hope this helps

Wireless data communication is a technology that uses the radio spectrum to transmit signals through the atmosphere.
It may carry analogy or digital signals and can be used on LANs or WANs in one- or two-way networks. Specific wireless data communication applications and technologies transmit signals through distinct segments of the radio spectrum (between the frequencies of 30 Hz and 300 GHz).

Hi,

Wireless data transmission involves the transfer of information without the need for physical wired connections. It relies on the use of electromagnetic waves to carry the data through the air or other mediums.

Thanks
