Imagine Sangfor gave you the chance to add one new feature to HCI tomorrow.
Only ONE feature.
What would you choose?
  • Better backup integration?
  • Smarter HA?
  • Stronger monitoring?
  • AI troubleshooting?
  • Easier migration tools?
  • Better reporting?

And why would that feature make a big difference in your environment?

I would extend capability for external storage, features like datastore clusters, DRS, storage-array based snapshots

HiHi,

I would choose AI troubleshooting and setup because it saves time on diagnosing and configuring issues, making Sangfor HCI easier to use in real situations.

I would choose:

AI-Assisted Troubleshooting & Root Cause Analysis

Not just AI chat, but a feature that continuously analyzes:

* Cluster health
* Storage performance
* Network latency
* VM events
* Hardware alarms
* Upgrade history
* Configuration changes

and then automatically answers:
What happened?
Why did it happen?
What should I check first?
How do I fix it?

Example:
Today, when a VM experiences high latency, an administrator may need to manually investigate:

* Storage latency
* Network congestion
* Snapshot chains
* RDMA status
* Disk health
* Replica synchronization

An AI troubleshooting engine could instead provide:
VM latency increased at 14:05. RDMA became inactive on Node 3 after a network switch reboot. Storage traffic fell back to TCP, increasing latency from 4ms to 45ms. Recommended action: verify PFC/ECN configuration and re-enable RDMA.

Why This Would Make the Biggest Difference

Most HCI outages are not caused by hardware failure—they are caused by:

* Misconfiguration
* Network changes
* Firmware upgrades
* Storage performance issues
* Human error

The hardest part is often identifying the root cause quickly.

Benefits:
✔ Faster troubleshooting
✔ Reduced downtime
✔ Less dependency on vendor support
✔ Better operational efficiency
✔ Easier management for smaller IT teams
