To update the IP address of the witness node in an HCI, follow the steps below:
- Update the Witness Node IP Address
Access the witness node’s web console and modify the IP address of the witness network interface, changing it from 10.250.0.7 to the new required IP address.
- Verify Network Connectivity
After updating the IP, confirm that the witness node can communicate normally with the HCI cluster network using the new address.
- Update the Witness IP in the HCI Cluster
Log in to the HCI cluster management interface. Navigate to [Node / Physical Host], select the witness node, and choose Modify Witness Node IP. Enter the new IP address so the cluster can re-establish communication with the witness node.
- Ensure No Active Data Operations
Before performing these changes, verify that no data balancing or data rebuilding tasks are running on the HCI platform. IP modifications should only be made once all such operations have fully completed.

if it is a new witness node, try to press factory default, (it will reboot)
