SANGFOR NGFW and proxy authentication/authorization. 5

Based on the documentation, we can use a proxy to obtain authentication/authorization on SANGFOR NGFW.
I would like to know which proxies NGFW can work with. We plan to use SQUID. Does NGFW work with SQUID?

Yes, Sangfor NGFW can be configured to work with proxy servers for things like updates or traffic routing when needed.
However, using an external proxy purely for user authentication/authorization isn't a standard built-in NGFW feature — instead, Sangfor usually handles authentication itself (e.g., via LDAP, local users, AD, RADIUS, etc.) rather than outsourcing it to a proxy.

Yes, Sangfor NGFW works with SQUID.

NGFW can redirect traffic to SQUID for user authentication, caching, and ACL enforcement.
