Hi I'm planning to use SCMT migration from ESXi 5.1, is it supported by agent based migration?
How's the license charged?

SCMT migration supports agent-based migration for platforms other than VMware. Since your source is ESXi 5.1 (a VMware platform), agent-based migration is supported for non-VMware platforms, but for VMware platforms like ESXi, SCMT supports agentless migration using the VMware VADP interface. So, for ESXi 5.1, agent-based migration is not the typical method; instead, agentless migration is used.
Regarding licensing, all three SCMT migration methods (point-to-point, hot backup, and backup migration) require a license, and each completed migration consumes one license. Once a migration task is initiated, such as creating the target machine or reaching the system switching step, a license will be consumed.
