Replaced Disk Status Fail

GUNJOHN Lv1Posted Jan-13-2026 15:39

I replaced the disk (same disk model as the failed one). After performing the disk replacement, the status became Fail, and there was a log message stating:
“Memory allocated for virtual storage of host (172.16.160.176) is insufficient, which may cause the virtual storage to be inaccessible.”
How can this be fixed?

Possible Cause:
May be shortage of RAM
Multiple rebuild / background tasks on going
overall RAM pressure on Host.
Solution:
Unused VM Stop
If you have extra RAM memory please increased it.
