Hai,

Our Sangfor HCI had alert log below

"Detected Disksafe software. Please confirm if using it for backup and check with CDP manufacturer for KVM virtual machine and Virtio support. There is a risk of data loss!"

Apart to from uninstall  Disksafe software in the VM. How to disable alert in the Sangfor HCI?

Hai, i had tried

1. Log in to the HCI console.
2. Navigate to [System] - [Alerts] - [Pending].
3. Select manual or bulk confirmation

It only clear the alert log for brief of time, then the alert come back.

Here is the answer provided by Sangfor Solvia AI Assistant.
======================================================
In Sangfor Hyper-Converged Infrastructure (HCI) version 6.11.1, you can disable alerts related to VMware vCenter by logging into the HCI platform and navigating to [System] - [Alert Options] - [Filter] - [Alert Content], then selecting VMware vCenter and dismissing the alerts. However, this method specifically mentions VMware vCenter alerts and does not explicitly state support for disabling alerts for other software such as Disksafe within a VM.

For selectively canceling alarms for specific VMs, this feature is supported starting from version 6.8.0 and above, where you can go to [System] - [Alert] - [Alert Option] - [Compute] to select the VM and cancel its alerts. But if your alert is related to software detection rather than VM-specific alerts, this may not apply directly.

Therefore, apart from uninstalling the Disksafe software in the VM, you can try to disable related alerts globally or filter VMware vCenter alerts as described, but there is no explicit mention of disabling alerts specifically for Disksafe software in the provided knowledge. If the alert is categorized under VMware vCenter alerts, you can dismiss it via the alert content filter.
