Using IAG as a RADIUS Server for UniFi WPA-E Authentication with Azure AD 5

Is there a way to make IAG retrieve and sync user data from Azure AD (Entra), then use IAG as a RADIUS server so that my Ubiquiti UniFi wireless can authenticate to IAG via WPA-E using user credentials from Azure AD?

Yes, it is possible to configure IAG (Internet Access Gateway) to retrieve and sync user data from Azure AD (Entra) and use IAG as a RADIUS server for Ubiquiti UniFi wireless authentication via WPA-E using user credentials from Azure AD. Here are the general steps to achieve this:
1.        Sync User Data from Azure AD to IAG:
Use Azure AD Connect to synchronize user data from Azure AD to your on-premises environment. This will ensure that user credentials are available locally for authentication purposes.
2.        Configure IAG as a RADIUS Server:
Set up IAG to act as a RADIUS server. This involves configuring the RADIUS server settings, including the shared secret, authentication port, and accounting port.
3.        Configure Ubiquiti UniFi for RADIUS Authentication:
I.        In the UniFi Controller, create a new wireless network with WPA Enterprise security.
II.        Configure the RADIUS profile in the UniFi Controller by specifying the RADIUS server's IP address, shared secret, and other relevant settings.
4.        Test the Configuration:
Ensure that the RADIUS server is properly configured and that the UniFi wireless network can authenticate users using their Azure AD credentials.

Hi,

Please check the SANGFOR_IAG_v13.0.80_User_Manual_EN document where you can find information who to configure  ThirdParty Auth System (SAML 2.0) and let IAG  authenticate with Azure AD with SAML 2.0.

Thanks,
