Sangfor Upgrade ES Error

PHI_Rob Lv1Posted 2025-Jan-22 00:08

Hello,
I want to upgrade Endpoint Sangfor from 3.7.2 to 6.0.4 on my CentOS Virtual Machine (hosted on a Hyperconverged Sangfor infrastructure Server with SSD), but I get these 2 errors when I run the pre-check package:

Entity: Manager Disk Write Speed. Inadequate performance may lead to upgrade failures or delays in page display. Up to 2000 endpoints can be connected, and the recommended disk write speed is 8 MB/s or higher. The current environment has a disk write speed of 4.36 MB/s.
Entity: Manager Disk Read Speed. Inadequate performance may lead to upgrade failures or delays in page display. Up to 2000 endpoints can be connected, and the recommended disk read speed is 8 MB/s or higher. The current environment has a disk read speed of 6.98 MB/s.

Any workaround?

Thanks

Hi, i suggest you to not look for a workaround, but to contact Sangfor support. It seems that the vm's disk are too slow for Endpoint Secure 6.0.4. You can deploy a new Endpoint Secure appliance and try to migrate clients.
