Hello Dear

Yes, a 4G modem can be used for a VPN path on a next-generation firewall (NGAF). You would need to configure the NGAF to connect through the 4G modem. This allows secure connections via VPN while using the mobile network.

HiHi,

Yes, using 4G(dynamic IPs) for IPsec VPNs is possible and supported by Sangfor NGAF.
Precautions: Dynamic IP needs to apply for a domain name and use Aggressive mode.

Hi, yes you can use it. I suggest you to configure a ddns service on NGAF or NSF (on latest version 8.0.95) as often 4g connections do not have static ip address. After that, you can configure your vpn with this connection using dns name associated woth your provider (such as dyndns.org, noip, etc...).

Yes, a 4G modem can be used as a VPN path on Sangfor NGAF by configuring it as a WAN interface. Ensure the modem supports IP passthrough or bridge mode. Set up the VPN connection using the NGAF's VPN settings.
