Hi All,

on Advanced Setting under VirtualStorage there's a section called "In-Memory Read caching". If enable this, the performances on read could be increasing?

Thanks

Mario

Yes, this features is used to improve the read performance through the host memory. It can enable when having high-performance database scenarios. Please be careful of the operation, changing of memory read cache size will make cached data invalid and temporarily bring down performance, performance will recover after recaching.

Does this setting bound for specific VM, or will be applied for all VM in datastore ? And can we turn the setting on while the VM is running ?
