cmaffio Lv1Posted 2019-Feb-26 19:10

I've migrated an old RH 5 32bit to our new sangfor system. Is possible to install vmtools in this 32bit system?

Hi,

Sorry for the wrong information earlier by my colleague, vmtools can be only be installed on Linux with kernel version 2.6.26 and above.
Unable to support version before 2.6.26.
If you insists install the vmtools, there might be issue with the VM.
Thus, it is not recommended to install.
Is this answer helpful?
