HiHi,

Pls find the "HCI Password Recovery Configuration Guide" link below:

Hello, some recommendations:

Password verification: Make sure your keyboard layout (Caps Lock, Num Lock, language) is correct. Try the previous password, then the new password if you haven't already.

Try another administrator account: If you have another admin account, log in with it and reset the password for the problematic user.

Console port access: If you have physical access, connect via the console port. However, there is no publicly documented CLI command for resetting the admin password.

1. Open a case with Sangfor Technical Support/TAC.
2. Provide:
HCI version
Cluster serial number / license information
Node serial number(s)
Proof of ownership if requested
3.Follow the recovery procedure provided by Sangfor. Depending on the version, TAC may provide a challenge-response reset process or backend recovery steps.

If the password change was rejected because it didn't meet the password policy the old password should normally remain valid. Try logging in with the previous password. If neither the old nor the new password works there is no self-service password reset from the console.

Log in using another administrator account and reset the password. If no other admin account is available, contact Sangfor Technical Support. Password recovery requires vendor assisted procedures and may involve identity verification and access to the host.
