I have set my throughput to be 2 Gig, but why does my HCI VM rate is transferring at less than 50Mb? flow control i have set to 1250mb as well

Setting the throughput to 2 Gbps only defines the maximum allowed bandwidth; it does not guarantee that speed. If your HCI VM is transferring at less than 50 Mbps, check the following:

Verify the VM NIC is negotiating at the correct speed (1G/10G).
Check for any VM QoS or bandwidth limit policies.
Test the network using iperf3 instead of file copy.
Monitor CPU, memory, and storage I/O utilization.
Check for physical network issues (NIC, switch, cables, packet loss).
Note that Flow Control (1250 MB) helps with congestion but does not increase throughput.

This covers the most common causes of low transfer speed.

Ensure the Migration/Management network is mapped to the correct physical NIC.
Verify the physical interfaces are negotiating at 10 Gbps (or the expected speed), not 1 Gbps.
Check for duplex mismatches or interface errors.
