To manage client updates and potentially avoid version mismatch prompts, you can configure the client update method:
- For versions before 5.6.0: Log in to the VDC Administrator Console, navigate to System → Logging In → VDI Client, and select Auto Update Options or Not update.
- For version 5.6.0 and later: Log in to the VDC Administrator Console, navigate to Assets → Clients → Client Settings → VDI Client, and check the Auto or Not update option.

Setting the update method to Auto ensures clients automatically update to a compatible version when users log in after a VDC upgrade, which would prevent the version mismatch prompt.

- Temporarily disable Client Verification in Authentication Policy.
- The user will access the website again.
- If the download page no longer appears, you have verified that the redirect was triggered by the client verification requirement.

Turn off Client Verification in the Authentication Policy for a short while.
The user will return to the website.
If the download page is no longer visible, you have confirmed that the client verification requirement caused the redirect.

Sangfor VDC (Virtual Desktop Cloud), the client version check can be disabled from the VDC management console.

Steps:
Log in to the VDC Management Console.
Go to System → System Settings (or General Settings, depending on your VDC version).
Open the Login or Client Settings section.
Locate the option similar to:
Enable Client Version Check
Force Client Upgrade
Check Client Version Before Login
Disable this option and Save/Apply the configuration.
Clear the browser cache or restart the VDC client if the change doesn't take effect immediately.

If you cannot find this option, it is likely because:

Your VDC version does not support disabling client version checks, or
The version check is hard-coded in newer VDC releases to ensure compatibility between the client and server. In those versions, users must install a supported client version before logging in.

If you can tell me:

VDC version (e.g., 5.9.x, 5.10.x, 5.11.x, 5.12.x), and

You can set up the client update method to control client updates and possibly prevent version mismatch alerts:- For versions prior to 5.6.0: Open the VDC Administrator Console, go to System → Logging In → VDI Client, and choose either Auto Update Options or Not update.
- For versions 5.6.0 and higher: Open the VDC Administrator Console, select Assets → Clients → Client Settings → VDI Client, and select Auto or Not update.

When users log in following a VDC upgrade, setting the update method to Auto guarantees that clients automatically update to a suitable version, preventing the version mismatch prompt.
