Sangfor Network Insight (aNI) provides a global view of business access relationships, but it requires careful virtual hardware sizing to avoid being a bottleneck.
The Sizing Matrix for aNI VMs: Depending on your cluster size, you must choose the correct template during deployment:
  • Small (up to 100 VMs): 8 vCPUs, 16GB RAM, 500GB Storage.
  • Medium (up to 1,000 VMs): 32 vCPUs, 64GB RAM, 1TB Storage.
  • Large (up to 3,000 VMs): 64 vCPUs, 128GB RAM, 1.5TB Storage.
Key Integration Rules:
  • Platform Lock-In: aNI supports integration with either HCI or SCP (Cloud Platform). Be careful: changing the integration platform requires a complete redeployment.
  • Network Path: It is highly recommended to place the aNI management network in the same segment as the HCI management IP to ensure 100% sampling rate with zero forwarding performance loss.
