DHCP problem causing authentication type to fail (IAM authentication types: DHCP issue)

When IAG acts as the DHCP server (common in route mode), IP-to-user mapping can break if DHCP leases are not synchronized with authentication records.

Confirm whether the IAG or an upstream router is the DHCP server. Mixed DHCP sources create duplicate IP assignments.

In IAG route mode: set DHCP scope on the LAN interface. Avoid running a separate DHCP server on the same subnet.

If using IP/MAC binding with DHCP, enable "bind on first connection" so IAG auto-registers new devices.
