Is there anyway we can check resource details (Vacant RAM slots, vacant HDD slots, etc) within the console without using aDeploy?
Something similar to VirtualDatastore where we can easily view the SSD/HDD detail?
Preferably from within the console.

if you configure the IPMI, you can access the IPMI and check it

Cluster → Host → Hardware Information or Host → Monitor / Hardware.

Yes — in most HCI environments you can check a good amount of hardware resource information directly from the cluster/management console, but the level of detail depends on the platform/version.

Typically, from the HCI console you can view:

Installed SSD/HDD information
Disk health/status
Storage pool details
CPU and memory capacity
Sometimes DIMM population and physical disk bay status

However, vacant RAM slots and unused HDD bays/slots are usually considered hardware inventory/BMC-level information, so they may not appear as clearly as VirtualDatastore storage information.

Common places to check from within the console:

Host / Node → Hardware Information
Physical disks
RAID/HBA info
Memory summary
NICs
Host → Sensors / Inventory
DIMM population
Drive bay status
PSU/Fan details
iBMC/IPMI integration (if integrated into HCI console)

This is usually where empty RAM slots and empty drive bays are visible.

If your platform supports integrated hardware management, you may see:

DIMM_A1: Present
DIMM_A2: Empty
Drive Bay 5: Empty

But if the console only exposes virtualization/storage abstraction, then:

Existing disks = visible
Empty slots/bays = not visible

In many deployments, the most accurate way remains:

aDeploy hardware inventory
iBMC/IPMI/WebUI
Redfish hardware inventory
Vendor CLI tools

For storage specifically, something similar to VirtualDatastore is usually available under:

Storage → Physical Disks
Cluster → Disk Management
Node → Storage Devices

That will show:

SSD/HDD model
Capacity
Wear level
Slot number
Usage state

But not always vacant slots.

If you tell me the exact HCI platform/version (for example Huawei HCI, FusionCube, Nutanix, VMware vSAN, etc.), I can give the exact console path/CLI command to check vacant RAM slots and disk bays.
