Hi mates

I have problem where my office mate is administrator who managed the Sangfor IAG system, model M6000-AC-I has resigned.
So currently I facing an issue where the administrator password is no longer available.

Under this circumstance, I would like to seek any guidance on the proper procedure to reset the IAG administrator password without affecting the existing configuration and any production operation.

Please advise guys on this community can give on the recommended steps to safely regain administrative access.

Method 1: Using a USB Drive (Recommended)
1. Prepare the USB Drive: Find an empty USB drive and format it with the FAT32 file system.
2. Create the Trigger File: On the USB drive's main directory (the "root"), create a new text file and name it reset-password.txt.
3. Perform the Reset:
   a. Power off the IAG device completely.
   b. Insert the prepared USB drive into one of the device's USB ports.
   c. Power on the IAG device and let it boot up normally.
4. Log In and Verify: After the device has fully booted, try logging into the web interface. The administrator password should now be reset to its default:
   - Username: admin
   - Password: admin
5. Clean Up: Once you have successfully logged in, you can remove the USB drive.

Method 2: Using a Cross-Over Cable
1. Create the Reset Tag: In a web browser, go to the following URL (replace IAMIP with the actual IP address of your IAG): https://<IAMIP>/php/rp.php. You should see a message confirming "File is created." This ensures you are resetting only the password, not the entire configuration.
2. Connect the Cable: Physically connect two Ethernet ports on the back of the IAG device with a cross-over cable.
   a. For IAG version 12.0.42 and higher: Connect eth0 and eth2.
   b. For IAG version 12.0.12 and lower: Connect eth0 and eth1.
3. Restart the Device: Reboot the IAG. Once it is fully started, the admin password will be reset to the default admin/admin.

Method 3: Using the Console (If Necessary)
1. Connect to the Console: Use a console cable to connect a computer directly to the device's console port (if available).
2. Reboot and Enter Recovery: Reboot the device and watch the terminal output for an option to enter a recovery mode or boot menu. This often involves pressing a specific key during startup.
3. Find the Reset Option: Once in the recovery mode, navigate the menus to locate a Password Reset or similar option and select it.
