im having hard time dealing with this.. also our technician are not able to provide concrete solutions..

we are setting up 2 nodes each cluster for DC1 and DC2.. im using ruijie.. switches.. (i dont know if this has sometihng to do with the error)

i have 2 vlans that i is used by VMs .. VLAN 150 192.168.50.0 /24 and VLAN 151 172.16.2.0 /24.. Native Vlan 1 for the trunk..

in the screenshot provided above.. yes.. its working.. no error.. but .. my problem is that i wanted to utilize the 10G interface of the overlay network and add edge to it.. so the storage communication is 20G.. 1 NIC with 2 10G interface.. another NIC has 4 copper interface.. which i want to use for MGMT.. another NIC is 2 10G interface which is currently used for overlay..

i wanted the edge to be in the overlay also.. thats AGG 4.. now the problem is.. when i do.. switchport mode trunk on the switch side.. i am encountering NIC Anomaly error on the this particular interface.. but if it is mode access VLAN 151.. there is no problem..

i need the it to be trunk.. yes.. because i want to utilize it as Edge at the same time.. so that i am able to accomplish a setup something like this 1.. where i can have 1 edge and vlan switches to connect my VMs which are on different vlans..

can someone please.. help me regarding this issue.. thanks

the last setup that i tired is something like this below
i assigned overlay to be in the subinterface with vlan 151.. but still having the same issue.. but the edge on agg4 is working perfectly.. i suppose..

notice that the MGMT is on VLAN 151 also.. i dont know if that has something to do with the problem..

the Storage.. is connected to each node.. no switch.. like node 1 storage eth4 and eth5 is connected with node 2 storage eth4 and eth 5..

please help me out..

Still unable to fix this one even having single interface for edge and overlay

Hi, We can choose the same port for the overlay interface and edge interface so no need to create subvlan interface.  We can configure up to three interfaces in one port
Is this answer helpful?
