HiHi,

2.9 Link State Propagation

Applicable Scenario: This is used to pair outbound and inbound interfaces of a data forwarding device in the same interface group for link state propagation when NGAF works in a load-balancing mode. It ensures that the state of all interfaces in a group is always the same.

Effect: As long as one of the interfaces in the interface linkage list is DOWN, all interfaces selected by the interface linkage will be in the DOWN state.

link state propagation plays a crucial role in optimizing the management and routing of network traffic by maintaining a real-time view of the network's topology and state. It ensures that each network node or device is aware of the state of its links, whether they are up, down, or experiencing issues, allowing the NGAF to dynamically adjust its routing decisions and optimize traffic flow.

Hello.
By preserving a real-time view of the network's topology and status, link state propagation is essential for managing and routing network traffic as efficiently as possible. In order for the NGAF to dynamically modify its routing choices and maximise traffic flow, it makes sure that every network node or device is informed of the status of its links, whether they are up, down, or having problems.
