Sangfor WAF

Hi,

I am in discussion with couple of clients who cannot afford costly WAF (Web application firewall) so i have suggested them Sangfor WAF solution.
I need to know from the sangfor community that if any has deployed WAF from Sangfor and how is that response, performance and acceptance from the client side.

Hi, it depends about your customer size (clients connected, traffic amount, etc). Could you please tell us more about your customer's needs? if it's a small customer, you can start with a NSF-1100A poc. To make a poc, please get in touch with your Sangfor sales country contact.

Hi, I've done deploying WAF using NSF. So far, it depends on the resources of the server and the rate attacks on hosted server. If the attacks are frequent, you may require more resources as the NSF requires it to perform mitigation against the attacks. At the same time, there's a feature in the NSF called "Business Asset Security". It's a feature where it will generate a report and analyze any attacked detected against the protected hosts based on the WAF policy. The feature also can detect potential weaknesses of hosted server so that security team can harden the security of software etc.

The WAF enhances security user experience are generally more satisfied.
The WAF configures introduce minimal latency.
