HiHi,

The network port 7444 is not used in Sangfor NGAF. You can find out which application is using it by checking the Application Control Log to determine what to do next.

Hi, port 7444 usually used for VMWare Connection single Sign On.
please re-check Vmware server on your environment to make sure this port is still used.

if you block this port, you cannot login to vmware.

hi, where do you discover this opened port? On Sangofr NGAF itself or on a network devices on your environment?

Port 7444 is commonly associated with Sangfor's products, particularly for their Next-Generation Firewall (NGAF) and other security solutions. This port is used for:

Management and Configuration: Facilitating management access to the device.
Control Traffic: Handling communications between devices in a distributed environment.
If you are configuring firewall rules or troubleshooting network issues involving Sangfor devices, make sure this port is open for the necessary traffic while also considering security implications.

Hi,

NGAF can be programmed to block these C&C communications so no further damage can be caused and to also send alerts to firewall operators
