Decommissioning an SCP-managed HCI environment requires a specific sequence of operations.
Do not assume that simply removing the association from HCI Manager is sufficient.
Before making changes, identify all interdependent objects:
Tenant User → Tenant → Resource Pool → HCI Cluster/Node Association
Then, verify the management status on both sides. Management integration is not automatically and completely erased simply because one side no longer displays the association.
