This error is common in Huawei / FusionCompute / FusionSphere / HCI environments when SCP (Service Control Platform) cannot authenticate with the Cloud Management Platform (CMP / FusionManager / ManageOne) or when cluster integration is incomplete.

Try this

You need to configure the cloud management platform on the HCI cluster before clustering in SCP:

  • Log in to the HCI Web Console of the node (admin portal).

  • Go to:
System > Cloud Management Platform (or Integration > Cloud Management, depending on your HCI version).

  • Enable Cloud Management and fill in:

      Platform Type: Sangfor SCP
SCP Address: IP or hostname of your SCP
Port: default is 443 unless changed
Cluster Name: must match the name you’ll use in SCP
Username/Password: the account SCP will use for management

  • Save and Apply the settings.

  • Back in SCP, try clustering the HCI node again — it should now pass authentication.
